We are looking for an IT Chapter Lead within Tribe Payments. Someone who has a passion to lead and build a safe, secure and quality ecosystem of our critical IT assets for Commercial Cards products to serve our customers better every day. Your chapter consists of 2 teams of engineers with expertise both in development as well as operations based in Amsterdam and in Manilla, Philippines.

As a Chapter Lead, you are a senior IT DevOps engineer who sets the example, transfers knowledge to your chapter, drives innovation, fostering an environment where your team members feel at home. Your main focus is on ensuring operational availability of services to our customers and compliancy to IT Risk Controls (including audits), As this area is going through a time of many developments and changes, it is a dynamic area in which there are lots of opportunity to learn, grow and excel.

• Together with the Product Lead, you take lead on your team’s development, delivery and timelines.
• Ensure quality and ownership for work delivered via sprints, set and improve standards according to the agile way of working.
• Together with your Engineers: you are end-responsible for keeping your IT environment up and running, healthy, secure, documented, and standardized where possible.
• Continuously work on skills improvements, expertise and personal growth of your IT engineers.
• Line management tasks such as hiring new employees, assess performance of current employees.
• Member of Tribe Management team, directing and delivering tribe wide initiatives.
