Fidelity TalentSource is your destination for discovering your next temporary role at Fidelity Investments. We are currently sourcing for a Full Stack Engineer to work in Fidelity’s Core Brokerage Platform Technology Group in Westlake, TX.

THE EXPERTISE AND SKILLS WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• You are experienced with the tools of the trade including a variety of modern programming languages and frameworks.
• 10+ years of experience working with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience working with Apache Kafka applications is a must have.
• Experience working with AWS managed solutions such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EC2, CloudWatch, Route53, IAM roles/policies etc.
• You have a passion for technology and can navigate your way across complex and rapidly changing landscapes by staying on top of the latest trends and thrive by sharing knowledge.
• Are a creator, a doer, and a disruptor who will help us tackle real-life problems and meet real customer needs. Helping us build things, taking an idea, and creating rapid prototypes that are shippable and learn from real-life feedback.
• Cycle time and use CI/CD practices, tools to rapidly deploy changes to customers while minimizing risk using practices like A/B tests, blue-green deployments, and feature toggles
• Have strong communication skills and technical expertise to drive and participate in meaningful discussions.

The Skills You Bring

• Experience in Java, Spring Boot & Web Development
• Experience working with Apache Kafka and Event Driven Applications that use Messaging solutions.
• Proven experience in Restful APIs & Microservices particularly spring boot apps
• Experience in container-based development (Docker)
• Experience in Hibernate ORM/JDBC/Connection Pooling etc with relational database.
• Experience in AWS EKS and AWS manages solutions such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM roles/polices etc.
• Experience in implementing Micro services Architecture & building / deploying highly automated, scalable and maintainable infrastructure.
• Knowledge on CD process and tools, testing frameworks and practices (preferably GitHub, Jenkins, Stash, Artifactory, Terraform etc.)

Our teams build and support industry leading brokerage solutions for Trade, Tax and Asset Serving Portfolio within CBPT. You’ll be part of the Trades Processing product team, developing Kafka based Event Driven Applications and Restful APIs.
You have the expertise and experience in crafting complex solutions and systems with reusability in mind and can handle high TPS traffic with low latency. This experience is critical since the opening is for someone who can design, architect and built solutions for the future and to accelerate our modernization squads.
