Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Java Developer who is passionate about developing innovative software solution.
The role focuses on conceiving and designing our financial markets software products, as well as implement, validate, and test achievements.
Our software development process is based on an array of integrated tools which ensures high quality of the products and deliveries: Git, Jenkins, Gerrit, Sonar.
Responsibilities
- Conceive and design our financial markets software products
- Implement, validate and test achievements
- Support team efforts by applying an Agile methodology
- Build extensible, high-volume, highly reliable server applications
- Contribute to GUI integration which is developed in C#
- Evolve in technical areas such as: multi-threading, performance profiling
- Apply continuous integration and TDD
- Provide and receive constant technical feedback via code-reviews and pair programming
Your profile
- At least 1 year of experience in Java development (Java 11 or above)
- Serious computer science (or related) academic qualification
- Familiar with OOP and/or functional programming (Scala,Kotlin) in an environment with challenging performance demands
- Comprehensive knowledge of core Java and JDK
- Good understanding of the server components and concepts
- Capable of designing and developing new functionalities, as well as consistently supporting ongoing maintenance releases
- Strives for innovations that drive the technological community
- Team player with good communication skills, with an excellent level of English proficiency
- Experience with various testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., JUnit, Spock, Spek, Mockito etc.) would be advantageous
Note: A coding test will be undertaken as part of the interview process, and it is expected you have sufficient expertise to do well in the test.
