Description:
Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our client.
Contract Dates: 12 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Range: $62.46 to $71.15 per hour
Business Hours: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with other team members to cooperatively design, develop and deploy quality solutions to satisfy project objectives and client requirements. Writes, tests, and debugs code.
- Participates in code reviews. Comply with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
- Take part in construction of the requirements, design, testing and deployment documents.
- Ensure consistency in coding standards.
- Ensure required documentation is housed in the project repository and that knowledge transfer has occurred to full time staff upon completion of contract term.
- Participate in after-hours on-call support rotation as required.
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
- Java experience
- Developer experience
- Scaled Agile environment experience
- API experience
