500+ staff, global software product company (UK HQ), seeks experienced Java Software Engineer, to join one of the Java Software development teams, working across new feature development & the core platform code base (Java with Spring framework, on AWS, in the main)
We are a well-established, tech-driven, globally distributed, enterprise level software house, providing a large, complex SaaS platform to a host of customers across the planet.
We pride ourselves on our team culture & are proud to have a large proportion of staff that have been with us for numerous years; this team included!
Whilst we operate a relatively “flat” structure in the day-to-day workings, we do offer clear, defined & realistic career paths (we’ve done this for many years). From graduate intake up to Architect, Team Lead, head of & VP level; we maintain a “promote from within 1st policy”, which has served us well.
Role title: Java Developer. Java Software Engineer. You will probably be at a “senior” level, but we aren’t massively fussed by your specific job title.
Location: London office, but largely irrelevant – we have staff all over the UK. We do try to meet up once a month for a team day out in London though, so willingness to actually see people occasionally is required. This is fully expensed.
Salary: Up to £55K Basic + 10% Bonus + Benefits package (25 days holiday, 6% matched private pension, private health, etc)

To be considered initially, we will need to see experience of the below:

• Java 11+ (We are currently working on a full upgrade to Java 17)
• Spring Framework (Boot, Security, MVC, etc)
• RESTful Webservices

To give you an idea of our broader tech-stack (& things you will / could get involved in):

• AWS, Cloud Formation, Docker / Kubernetes, Web security, JavaScript (Typescript), Python.
