Java Software Engineer II
Location: Richardson, TX
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret/SCI with Counter Intelligence Polygraph
Rate: $45 to $64 an hour depending on benefit selection
Have you worked within a Closed System? Are you willing to work onsite? Do you have at least 2 years of solid Java experience working in a Linux environment? Would you like a role where you are part of a Design Team working within Command Software Solutions within a Matrixed System? Our Richardson Texas team works within a State of the Art facility developing solutions to protect life, limb, and the pursuit of happiness.

Impact of the Opportunity:

• Opportunity to use your understanding of software principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering (including software development lifecycle and software development process), design patterns, and Object Oriented architecture.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Java Software
• Object Oriented experience.
• Software Integration and Troubleshooting experience
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with CI poly is required prior to start date, and U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Python
• Mission Management, Command and Control experience
• Containerization (Docker or Kubernetes)
• Micro Services (Service Discovery, Load Balancer, API Gateway, Service Registry, Circuit Breaker, Service Monitoring, Service Orchestration, Configuration Server)
• Agile toolsets (e.g. Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, Cucumber, etc.).
• DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
• AWS Cloud Technologies.
• Automated tests - (J Unit, Selenium)
