Description:
Founded in 1989, camLine has been actively providing IT solutions for production automation and logistics. Our decades of experience in this sector gives us a head start in this competitive market.
At camLine, our clear focus is on one thing: the reliability of people and software. We develop software that reliably connects business processes with manufacturing processes. Our software monitors, controls and optimizes in a precise manner all of the manufacturing processes. camLine does all of this behind the scenes. The software itself is not visible as part of the manufacturing process. But what is certainly clear for all to see are the outstanding results it delivers to its users.
To strengthen one of our product teams, we are looking for a motivated Java Software Engineer, oriented to the backend, in Germany.

- Number of years of experience: minimum 3 years but we are flexible, depending on your knowledge

- High level of self-organization
NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- Spring boot knowledge (theoretical and practical)
- Scrum working methodology experience or at least willing to adapt to it
- German Language (speaking and writing) could be an advantage but it is not a must
Responsibilities:
- Writing code to implement new features in the product
- Your work will help to implement new customer requirements and therefore add more value to the product.
- Maintaining and improving existing codes
- Specification and implementation of automated test cases
- Find defects/bugs in the code and apply fixes to it
- Quality assurance mainly through Code reviews and testing (the team does not have a dedicated tester)
- This role involves 70% of the time allocated for development and 30% of the time for maintenance
