Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Policy Technology Team building the policy governance platform. Provide technology solutions and support for Risk and Compliance business lines. This position will serve as a Senior Java Software Engineer for an agile scrum team; act in a lead technical role providing technical guidance and consultation with application teams and Engineering Managers for their technology domain environments including but not limited to: cloud, middleware, operating systems, applications, software as a service and platform as a service products. Remote/telework is available up to 2 days per week. The resource will primarily work on building, supporting, and maintaining Policy Governance Platform using Java, Aspose Words for Java, SQL Server, and clout technologies.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of experience on Java, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, XML, JSON, RESTful services, JDBC, JPA, Unit Test Framework
  • 4+ years of experience developing micro services
  • 4+ years of experience with SQL Server
  • 4+ years of experience with Cloud technologies such as PCF/AWS/Azure
  • 1+ years of experience with Aspose Words for Java library

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to work with resources located in different geographic locations.
  • Proficiency in J2EE architecture and design patterns
  • Experience with Acrolinx product
  • Experience with Angular UI development
  • Experience with content management system capabilities.
  • 4+ years of experience with JIRA and Confluence
  • 4+ years of experience with Agile development methodology
  • 4+ years of experience with DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, uDeploy, Sonar, Blackduck.

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work on-site at posted location, hybrid is currently available
