Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Analyze security vulnerability scan results and prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity, exploitability, and potential impact on business operations.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, attack techniques, and vulnerability trends to adapt and improve vulnerability management strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to technical teams on effective mitigation strategies and best practices for patch management.
  • 10+ years of Experience in Supporting and Delivering Java Spring Boot Application for Insurance and Banking Customers
  • Similar experience in managing IBM MQ and AWS based applications.
  • Experience in Managing Team of 8 to 10 Member Team.
  • Excellent written, communication, interpersonal skills, and operating as a team player
  • Manage the Delivery for Large Insurance and Banking Customer including Application Support, Enhancements & Development
  • Collaborating with Customer on Enhancement & Automation of systems and Applications.
  • Key Role played in Cutting down Application running and Operating Cost.
  • Experience in solutioning and supporting of Legacy application running on IBM MQ and AWS.
  • Implemented Various Key Process to Automate Vulnerability Remediation and Analysis.
  • Implement Continuous Service Improvements across the portfolio with specific focus on Automation and Performance improvement. Collaborate with Cognizant’s automation Center of Excellence to assess for and identify ITPA and RPA opportunities and execute same.
  • Manage heterogenous technology teams like QA, DEVOPS, DEV and Support.
  • Implementation of Various Ticket saving Activities which result in Cost saving for client.
  • Successfully implemented Various Alert Enhancement Process to Stabilize Application support.
  • Test Automation Implementation Using JENKINS and Other Deployment tools.
  • Application Security Monitoring using alert integration of Splunk and Dynatrace.
  • Test Automation Tool Development, tool to automate testing process.
  • Experience in managing Rest API application.
  • Hands on experience in Deploying and maintaining Kubernetes applications.

MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Hands on experience in JAVA Spring boot Framework
  • Expert knowledge on rolling out and managing ITIL Framework
  • Knowledge of AWS concepts including Instance monitoring and health checks
  • Realtime experience in implementing and managing application in Cloud Environment.
  • Good Experience in Handling AWS vulnerability, Application code (Xray ) Vulnerabilities.
  • Experience in Security vulnerability analysis, penetration test result analysis and remediation
  • Hands on experience in CI/CD - Deploying and Managing Jenkin Job and Pipeline.
  • Expert Knowledge in Splunk and Dynatrace Alert creation and handling
  • Hands on experience in SQL Database, strong knowledge to maintain RDS and Dynamo DB in AWS.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate and prioritize opportunities resulting in optimization / cost savings for the Customer and revenue generation for Cognizant
  • Application code review and development to make sure Bug free version running on Production environment.
  • Tracking Vulnerabilities and addressing ASAP in both Production and Non-Production Environment.
  • Certificate Renewals of ELB’s and RDS Databases.
  • Status Reporting to Customer Executive Leadership team on a weekly basis on progress made, highlight issues/concerns that are impacting the Application in Production.
  • Track and report Security Incident ASAP, improving alerting to capture those in earlier stage.
  • Act as liaison with the Client’s personnel to ensure the availability of Application 24/7 with ZERO Downtime.
  • Work with the Customer for new Enhancements and Improvements in Production Application Support.
  • Responsible for Cost Optimization.
  • Propose value adds to Customer through innovative initiatives
  • Coordinate with different teams within cognizant to address all possible issue, QA, DEVOPS and support team interaction to solve issues ASAP.
  • Overseeing / Tracking of Adherence to SLAs. Be responsible for timely delivery of all agreed deliverables
  • Escalation Point for any Application issues 24/7 in production.
  • Set up sync-up calls with PO and SDM on Incident / Service Ticket statuses
  • Prepare and maintain Enhancement plan, monitor the progress of enhancement tasks as per plan and track issues to closure.
  • Track Change progress to ensure completion on time
  • Prioritize, allocate and monitor resource and monitor the overall workload and make any changes required to team.
  • Identify value additions and process improvements working with the team which provides cost benefit to customers.
  • Track Issues and Risks and work with offshore team for ensuring contingency/mitigation plans are implemented
  • Application Running Cost Planning and Forecasting
  • Review and Report to the Leadership team on the Monthly/Quarterly/annually financials
