We’re on the lookout for a friendly, skilled Jet Boat Driver / Maintenance Technician to become part of our team at Dart River Adventures—one of the most stunning spots in New Zealand! This is more than just a job; it’s about sharing stories, caring for our people, and protecting the beauty of our place for future generations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A qualification in engineering or automotive fields.
• Outdoor adventure or education experience (bonus points!).
• Full driver’s license (Class 2 or P Endorsement would be awesome).
• First Aid Certification.Skills:
• Knowledge of high-performance engines and automotive systems.
• Great teamwork, time management, and project management skills.
• Enthusiastic to learn about Ngāi Tahu values, tikanga, and te reo Māori.
• Experience with maintenance management systems is a plus.

As part of our team, you’ll split your time between taking our manuhiri (visitors) on thrilling jet boat rides through breathtaking landscapes and ensuring our boats and equipment are always in top-notch condition. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about adventure, loves working with people, and is keen to be a kaitiaki (guardian) of the natural beauty and cultural stories of this region.
