Description:
Frankfurt (Onsite) Back Office / Administrative Crytek
Crytek is looking for a Jira Administrator to join our IT Team.
This role is based on site in our headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany. You will have the chance to work alongside our worldclass team that features some of the best developers in the industry and take advantage of our attractive relocation package.
Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and administer the Atlassian estate, including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Desk, both on-premises and in the cloud.
- Analyse, review, and document the current system, developing an improvement plan and collaborating with business users to document workflows and processes.
- Perform cost analysis to ensure value for the Atlassian platform, including plugins, and maintain vendor relationships.
- Manage Jira projects, workflows, permissions, and users, enhancing security by setting access permissions for Jira projects and Confluence spaces.
- Communicate and share knowledge and KPIs with internal contacts at all levels, ensuring timely updates and information flow.
- Evaluate, test, install, and configure Jira and Confluence plugins, determining licensing needs and ensuring compatibility.
- Perform Linux and Windows Server administration tasks, improving and administering the Atlassian architecture, and collaborating with the IT Director on disaster recovery solutions.
Requirements
- Extensive experience configuring, maintaining, and administering Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Desk).
- Strong analytical skills to review and improve current systems, and the ability to collaborate with business users to document workflows and processes.
- Expertise in cost analysis for the Atlassian platform, maintaining vendor relationships, and proficiency in maintaining Jira projects, workflows, permissions, and users from Jira 8.x onwards.
- Strong understanding of Jira security, setting access permissions, and excellent communication and knowledge-sharing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and experience managing user permissions, evaluating plug-ins, and performing testing, installation, and configuration.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows Server administration, including improving and administering the Atlassian architecture, and experience in system administration tasks such as data backups, upgrades, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Required to be in Germany for onboarding and one week a month for team meetings and server work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to be a brand and IT ambassador across the studio, a strong work ethic, good time management skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic agile environment.
Pluses
- Experience installing applications on VMs, monitoring performance, and tailing logs on Linux Systems and Microsoft Windows Server.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL Database administration.
- Experience with LDAP integration.
- Ability to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language).
- Atlassian certification.
- Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.
