JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking skilled Insulators to join our team. The Insulator will be responsible for installing and replacing insulation materials to help control the temperature within buildings.

SKILLS:

• Proficiency in using hand tools for cutting and shaping insulation materials
• Ability to interpret blueprints for accurate installation
• Experience in caulking and sealing insulation effectively
• Knowledge of working with drywall for proper insulation placement
• Familiarity with blueprint reading to understand insulation requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a able to provide craft level proof.
• Safety tickets: CSTS, CSO, Fall Protection, WHMIS 2015, confined space
• Government Issued ID
• Able to pass a pre-access test.

• Measure and cut insulation for covering surfaces using hand tools
• Install insulation in buildings to maintain temperatures
• Apply, remove, and repair insulation on pipes, ductwork, walls, and other structures
• Seal insulation with caulk, cement, or mastic
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the amount and type of insulation needed
• Work with various materials such as fiberglass, foam, and mineral wool
