Responsibilities:
Royal Prince Alfred Hospital is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.
Medical Training & Administration Unit is a fast paced, timeline critical Unit that is relied upon by the hospital to provide accurate and timely information in relation to Junior Medical Officer rosters and Junior Doctor’s Payroll approximately for 350 medical officers.
The Medical Rostering and Payroll Officer is responsible for supporting all administration and maintenance relating to the rostering, payroll and remuneration for Junior Medical Officers at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH).
The position executes the processes for the payment and payroll management of the Junior Medical Workforce, including data entry of departmental rosters, variations, back adjustments and pay related queries from junior medical staff, utilising HealthRoster, StaffLink, HealthShare and relevant internal stakeholders such as the Workforce Transactions team. In addition, the position will assist the organisation with participation and support of JMO workforce projects, such as ADO and Leave Management roster co-design, and Overtime management strategies. Development and maintenance of positive relationships with all Departments for the timely receipt of rosters and team and term allocations is required.
