The Junior Rostering Team is part of the Medical Workforce Unit. The JMO Pay Enquiries & Rostering Officer will be responsible for high quality and consistent advice and processing in relation to pay enquiries and rostering of Junior Medical Officers and other non-specialist medical staff within NBMLHD.
The team is committed to delivering a high quality, customer focused service that supports the organisation in the delivery of its vision which is to provide safe, equitable, high quality, accessible, timely and efficient services that are responsive to the needs of patients and the community. The successful incumbentwill be responsible for providing all administration services and management of accurate rosters and data in Health Roster including monitoring ADO’s and leave balances.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated successful customer focus with the ability to build and maintain rapport with key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to interact professionally with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated level of competence and experience in the use of Stafflink and Health Roster or Romulus
  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues of relevance, sensitivity and confidentiality, to interpret information and advice and use discretion to identify when to escalate matters
  • Superior time management skills with the ability to successfully prioritise and organise daily work routine
  • High level analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to research information to resolve or escalate matters as they arise
