Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educatio
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Expert-level Microsoft Office skills with the ability to conceptualize, develop, and deliver quality analysis and highly- actionable management information to executives
- Working knowledge of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) businesses, its products and services, and relevant risks and controls of the business
- Working knowledge of the company’s governance frameworks including Risk Management Framework (RMF) concepts and policies across risk types
- Knowledge of Issue Management policy including experience and understanding of Veritas reporting
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills in order to work effectively across all organizational and leadership levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are a must
- Demonstrated capability to confidently raise issues, escalate early, and engage in constructive credible challenge independently
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Prior experience successfully managing a complex issue portfolio
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal); ability to concisely articulate complex concepts in a clear manne
Responsibilities:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer to support CIB control.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impact
- Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional area
- Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies
- Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
- Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls
- Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
- Lead Control Management project or virtual teams
