JOB DESCRIPTION

This is an exciting opportunity to join JPMorgan, this role is a Jobshare (part-time hours where 2 people share the responsibility of the role) if this is the flexibility you need this could be the role for you.
Manage technology projects and programs from inception to implementation; responsibilities include, but not limited to, project task estimation, resource scheduling, risk management, issue management and budget/financial management.
The Tech Strategy and Architecture Governance team (TSAG) within Infrastructure Platforms (IP) Architecture fulfil the Global Technology Operating Committee (GTOC) mandate of federated architecture governance, providing a governance framework and management tools.

As part of the governance team the role will be managing the current operational governance aspects including but not limited to:

  • SEAL (System of record for technology, i.e. CMDB) administration for the Infrastructure Platforms business including engagement with application owners, and assisting in navigating and supporting the various workflows for which we’re accountable.
  • AppTollgate PTX – Operating and supporting the “Permit To” process, working with application owners and the accountable checkers.

In addition, there is a number of key deliverables that the team are accountable for including audits across our functions and the associated control procedures along with process improvements across PTx (Permit to Plan, Build & Operate for applications). The role will assist in these, including engaging with key stakeholders to get updates and feedback, hosting calls and tracking actions in project plans and JIRA alongside assisting with reporting and presentations up to leadership teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Take ownership of BAU operational process (i.e. AppTollgate, SEAL LOB Admin) across the architecture governance functions.
  • Invest in relationships with stakeholders including our TGO partners, Application Owners and architects to enhance collaboration.
  • Identify and manage escalations for breaks resulting from SEAL workflow changes.
  • Track and record actions resulting from the current programs the team is driving across audits and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify automation opportunities for reduction of manual effort.
  • Continuously collect Application Owner feedback and drive continuous improvement in the Apptollgate process.
  • Assess, understand, and measure customer need and value drivers for processes.
  • Create user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria for process and tools improvements.
  • Publish status and executive reporting for governance processes we own.
  • Work with Application Owners and architects on awareness of additions or changes to current processes.
  • Make continuous learning and skill building a priority.
  • Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion for all forums and across the teams.
