JOINER - FIRE DOORS (INSTALL & REMEDIAL WORKS)

Location - North West (Lancashire / Merseyside)
Salary - Circa £42/44k (Inclusive of travel time)
Calling to experienced Joiners.
NEO Property Solutions continues to grow, we recently signed a contract with a top 4 major UK retailer for over 2000 locations. This contract alone is enough to keep 15 joiners in full time work, that coupled with our current list of clients and growing demand, see’s us in the market to recruit additional permanent full time joiners.
We’re open those recently out of apprenticeship looking for a company willing to invest in them and provide consistent work, through to seasoned Joinery professionals with extensive experience that are looking for job security and stability.

At NEO Property Solutions we specialise in the installation and maintenance of Fire Doors – both timber and composite. Our work ranges from Schools, Hospitals, Sports Arenas, Offices, Apartments, Social Housing, Retail Outlets, Care Homes and more.
Each day is a little different, you might be doing some remedial work on a double door set and bringing it back to regulations, installing some new intermittent strips, upgrading hinges, installing Iron work. The next ripping out a door and surround in a school and installing a complete new assembled door set.

What we need from you:

• Reliability – first and foremost we need continuity and our joiners to turn up on site on time ready to roll.
• A general capability to use technology - we record all works done on a mobile device, you’ll need to be comfortable using it (full training will be provided) – if you can use face book you can use our Apps
• Minimum NVQ level 2 Carpentry (Or other joinery equivalent)
• Full UK Driving licence
• Able to pass a DBS check (remember you’re working on occupied property – so all joiners are vetted)
• A positive attitude – Not everyday goes to plan in this crazy world, so the ability to look past the challenge and remain focused is a real benefit

What to expect:

• Working hours – Mon to Thur 08:00 to 16:30 (15:30 on Fridays)
• Generally travel upto 1.5 hours of your home (We try to keep you as local as possible)
• Indepth initial induction
• Ongoing support from your manager

• Starting wages around £18 p/hr (Experience dependent) increasing after successful 3 month review (Average earnings circa £40k + per annum)

Neo Property Solutions, part of the PTSG Group, deliver specialist passive fire protection services, including Fire Compartmentation Surveys, Fire Door Surveys, Fire Stopping and Fire Compartmentation Works, executed as part of a rolling programme of annual inspection and/or rectification works required across multi-occupancy housing, buildings of public amenity, healthcare facilities, education establishments, student accommodation blocks and security sensitive office buildings and workplaces.
