This vacancy allows you to provide clinical services, become a pharmacist non-medical prescriber (NMP) and develop your leadership skills. You will be helping to integrate and lead Digital Medicines Teams, across two Trusts as they work more closely together in a collaborative way, whilst at the same time being a valued member of the Clinical Pharmacy Team. You will be supported in your development towards advanced practice.
You would be closely involved with the new joint Dorset/Somerset Electronic Health Record (EHR) which will replace our existing electronic prescribing and medicines administration (EPMA) systems into one integrated health record.
You will become a specialist clinical and digital medicines expert. This post could be the start of an exciting career progression that ultimately could lead to a post as an organisation’s Digital Clinical Safety Lead, Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO) or even Chief Information Officer (CIO).
