Are you passionate about uncovering stories and delivering news that matter? 7News Regional is seeking a driven, multi-skilled journalist for our Toowoomba newsroom.
This is a great opportunity to work with Australia’s leading broadcast media organisation and will give you the opportunity to improve your journalism skills and take another step in your career.
Reporting to the News Editor, and based in Toowoomba, the successful applicant would be responsible for sourcing and writing broadcast news in vital Toowoomba news market. Other key responsibilities include:
- Generating original daily story ideas for on-air presentations.
- Interviewing, writing and voicing skills.
- Developing and maintaining contacts in the community.
- Research and prepare news reports.
- Create an effective and respectful rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
