Journeyman Carpenters, Apprentices & Experienced Carpenters

Trend Home Improvements is a locally owned and operated renovation company who has been serving the Grande Prairie & Peace Country for over 40 years. Currently we are looking for experienced, journeyman or apprentice carpenters to work with our construction and renovation team in:

• Installing flooring, cabinets, doors, windows, decks and performing interior finishing
• Constructing house additions, garages and shops from framing to finishing
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics and construction drawings
• Scheduling and management of subtrades on renovation projects
• Operation of skid steers, forklifts and telehandler
• Ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations
• Maintaining a clean and organized work site

REQUIREMENTS:

• Journeyman Carpenter ticket, registration as an apprentice or Carpenter with substantial construction experience in renovations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work on your own
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Class 5 Driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
  Pay: $20.00-$36.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
