Journeyman Machinist

Experienced Machinist - CNC machine operator required for busy SE Manufacturing Facility. Only Candidates with 5 or more years of experience in Machining and able to work independently will be considered.

• Excellent communication skills in providing feedback and pinpointing improvements where needed.
• Ability to work well and collaborate within a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills for preparing documents and collecting data.
• Proficient English speaking and writing skills.
  Job Types: Full-time, Freelance
  Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Work Location: In perso

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables.
• Set-up, Operate and Program CNC Lathe/Mill
• Be able to work independently or minimum supervision.
• Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
• Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments (Micrometers, Calipers, Gauges)
• Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
• Ensure expected level of quality standards are maintained.
