Description:
JOB TITLE: Journeyman Recruiting & Outreach Support
LOCATION: Bethesda, Maryland
CLEARANCE: Current Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s with 3 years’ experience or No degree with 9 years’ experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide outreach and recruiting support to assist the government with increasing university students’ awareness of and interest in IC careers.
- Build partnerships with U.S. colleges and universities to strengthen foreign language programs and create pathways for language students to enter the IC.
- Support stakeholders across all IC agencies to develop IC-wide recruiting strategies and initiatives.
- Organize and facilitate virtual and in-person outreach events, conferences, expert panels, and information sessions.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the IC Community of Practice for Language Recruiting as well as the IC Centers for Academic Excellence Program.
- Prepare briefing slides, meeting minutes, and other written products as required; maintain databases of partner schools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- IC event planning experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Teams.
- Recruiting strategy development.
- Familiarity with the Customer Event Coordination System.
- Familiarity with the National Security Education Program.
- Experience supporting communities of practice or interagency working groups.
- Experience working with students
