JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. This role involves working on various electrical projects, including installations, renovations, and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be capable of interpreting blueprints and schematics. This position requires a commitment to safety and quality workmanship in all tasks performed.

SKILLS

• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and industrial electrical applications.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Experience in renovation projects, showcasing skills in building and modifying electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
• A background as a maintenance person is a plus, demonstrating versatility in various repair tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Experience:

• Journeyman Electrician: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades.
• Work with low voltage systems as required for specific projects.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople during renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical work.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and industry standards while performing duties.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
