Wrangler currently has a full-time position for a r Heavy Duty Mechanic in Leduc AB. As a Apprentice Mechanic, you will be based out of our shop and completing field work in the construction, transportation and oil & gas industries.
As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, tasks and duties will include:
· Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on equipment
· Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment in order to diagnose defects
· Helps trouble shoot problems in the field on equipment with both operators and field superintendents
· Communicates with equipment manager on day to day activities both in the field and shop
· Verifies all final inspections to make sure equipment repairs have been completed and machine is ready to be put back in service
To successfully secure this opportunity, you must:
· Be fully qualified as a Heavy Duty Mechanic/Heavy Equipment Technician with experience on Excavators
· Experienced with SIS and computer skills, considered an asset
· Dealer experience considered an asset
· Have approximately 3 years’ experience
· Have mechanical and technical aptitude to deal with complex engineered products
· Strong communication skills and problem-solving capabilities
