Roles/Requirements:

  • Install, replace, repair and test electrical circuits and equipment such as electrical controls and panel boxes, splice, join and connect wires, test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits, troubleshoot and isolate faults
  • Notice potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callback
  • Analyze, diagnose and resolve problems in timely manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Strong ability to read Blue prints
  • Ability to follow layouts and install electrical components correctly.
  • Require to do start-up and commissioning of the units in the shop.
  • Require to go on site to do start-up and service if our service technicians are not available (For emergency situation ONLY).
  • Must be able to test units - Pre-Commissioning.
  • Must be able to complete QC Documents

Qualifications:

  • HVAC experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of JIC Piping
  • A Red Seal Journeyman ticket
  • Minimum of 5 year electrical experience in Alberta
  • Minimum of a Grade 12 education, college or trade school diploma is preferred
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required (evening, weekend, or afternoon shift)
  • Strong time management skills and organizational skills
  • Superior communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various service projects
  • Work well under pressure
  • Proven ability to effectively finish project to meet our deadlines
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Clean drivers abstract and successfully complete a background check
