Essential Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret drawings and follow code specifications and procedures
- Instrumentation tubing
- Installation of instruments, hoses and fabrication
- Calibration of components and instruments according to manufacturers’ specifications
- Inspecting and testing, fault finding
- Ability to troubleshoot
Requirements:
- Have a Journeyperson Instrumentation certification or be a registered apprentice from a recognized provincial training authority
- Experience with working on a construction project in an industrial setting
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Successful candidates will require OSSA Regional Orientation Program, CSO or BSO
- Energy Safety Canada’s Fall Protection
Work Conditions:
- Shift based position with 14 days on and 7 days off, working 10 hours per day
- Site based camp accommodation provided
- Travel allowance provide to those candidates who qualify
- Extended Health & Wellness benefits provided by CLAC
- Work will primarily be outdoors in various weather conditions
