QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician, 421A license required
- Ability to travel and work overtime as needed
- Previous experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Detail-oriented and have a high level of accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Qualified candidates will have strong work ethic
- Experience in previous field service environments is an asset
- Able to demonstrate aptitude for problem-solving
- Self-motivated, can multi-task and manage change in responsibilities
- Results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work shift work from time to time
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, repair, and service underground mining equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Adjust, repair, or replace defective equipment parts and components at customer locations
- Build strong working relationships with relevant co-workers
- Participate in and be committed to a strong safety culture to achieve Komatsu’s organizational Safety, Health, and Environmental goals
- Comply with Komatsu company policies and procedures
