SUMMARY:

The Jr. Sales Account Manager supports revenue growth by working in conjunction with sales representatives on specific strategies and activities. This position requires excellent organizational skills and interaction with sales, operations, design, and all levels of management. The Jr. Sales Account Manager is responsible for communication between the client and all departments within our company.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business or related sales field preferred. Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm specific programs and software. Friendly and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists the sales team with developing sales forecasts within the assigned territory; Assists with customer meetings and sales calls.
  • Assesses problem situations to identify causes, gathers and processes relevant information, generates possible solutions, and makes recommendations and/or resolves the problem.
  • Sets priorities, develops a work schedule, monitors progress towards goals, and tracks details/data / information/activities.
  • Assesses situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and makes clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization.
  • Maintains strong communication lines with sales team, operations team, and or clients regarding all programs.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with sales force to understand and serve their needs as a first-line of support on all leads, systems, and applications.
  • Supports driving sales growth and revenue with new and existing customers through generation of leads and various prospecting activities.
  • Collects, tracks and summarizes performance and customer data.
  • Proactively and thoroughly researches matters relating to account assignments, contracts, opportunities/quotes, booking transactions, and/or accounts receivables.
  • Assembles presentations and prepares sales reports at the direction of the Sales Manager; Informs sales manager of key dates and criteria of marketing programs
  • Serves as a liaison and coordinates processes to involve relevant members of sales, marketing, design, operations and the sales team
  • Supports keeping selling tools up-to-date, accurate and detailed. These tools include but are not limited to forecasting, customer/account plans, opportunity plans, and CRM, etc.
  • Focuses on driving process improvement initiatives across the sales organization that will enhance sales force productivity and efficiency
