Description:
JUNIOR PROCUREMENT OFFICER
SciTech Services, Inc. (SciTech) is seeking a Junior Procurement Officer to provide professional support services to the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR). The Junior Procurement Officer will perform the full range of closeout functions for expired contracts and orders.
Job Description
- Perform a full range of closeout functions for expired contracts and orders.
- Prepare memorandums for record (MFRs) and other required post-award documentation.
- Create invoice reconciliation spreadsheets.
- Prepare closeout modifications in accordance with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), HHS Acquisition Regulations (HHSAR), and local policies.
- Attend meetings or conference calls associated with assigned workload.
- Ensure and maintain an accurate and complete contract or order file.
- Perform required actions associated with transitioning contract files from shared drive to PSC WorkSmarter eFiles.
- Support the Contracting Officer in responding to data calls and FOIA requests.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Three (3) to five (5) years of government related acquisition/procurement experience and twenty-four (24) business credits or five or more (5+) years of government related acquisition/procurement experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience with federal acquisitions.
- FAC-C (Professional) Certification (Legacy FAC-C or DAWIA Level I).
Citizenship/Clearance requirement: Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance and pass a background check and drug screening.
