Description:

Jr. Project Manager
VersaFile is a Vancouver-based technology services and software company providing intelligent content and process automation solutions. This includes managed services, strategic consulting, implementations, and commercial software. We are looking for a Jr. Project Manager to help us solve client business challenges and generate elated end-users. You will be responsible for ensuring operational processes are effectively managed, working with our Service Delivery team members to ensure consistent and high-quality results. You will report to the Senior Project Manager and you will be someone who has experience working on delivering an IT project from end to end.
VersaFile brings deep and extensive experience to the traditional Content Business Process Management space as well as brining innovative automation technologies to the Digital Transformation/Digital Workforce arena.
This is a remote position, but must be available for Pacific Time hours to best meet the needs of our clients and internal team

SKILLS

  • Sound business sense and a market-driven approach, with the flexibility to modify approaches to achieve goals as information changes and events unfold.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software is preferred (eg. Microsoft Project, Jira)
  • Understanding of Project Management principles such as Agile and Waterfall

KEY ATTRIBUTES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but equivalent work experience will be considered
  • Pursuing a PMP Certification
  • Experience working on IT Projects is required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated good judgment in making decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities having worked directly with external clients
  • Fluent in English and eligibility to work in Canada are pre-requisites.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers in monitoring, measuring, and reporting on project performance.
  • Assist Project Managers in managing resource allocations for upcoming and current projects.
  • Work with Project Managers and team members to ensure accurate time tracking is completed.
  • Work with Project Managers and the accounting team to ensure projects are billed and invoiced appropriately.
  • Ensure effective document management of project artifacts.
  • Facilitate effective, consistent project management practices.
  • Provide administrative and project coordination support to the Service Delivery team.
  • Enter, review, and update project information in systems and with responsible parties.
