JOB SUMMARY

The primary role of the RPA Developer is to design, build, and execute software robots or bots to work side by side with humans to increase the business performance of the process. The RPA Developer investigates, analyzes, and develops automation based on the Government’s requirements. This automation could be achieved with RPA technologies and tools available in the market, such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, etc.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related discipline required (in lieu of degree, three (3) additional years of experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted.)
  • 2+ year of experience as an RPA Developer or other job roles with similar software processes is required.
  • Robotic Process Automation Level 2 certification required (UIPATH, Automation Anywhere, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Mapping processes and data flows
  • Modeling and developing robotic automations
  • Maintaining RPA “bots” in production
  • Identifying and analyzing improvements in the process, bot development, etc.
  • Creating and maintaining solution documentation
  • Advise end users during user acceptance training (UAT)
  • Work with Government RPA Center of Excellence to migrate bots from development environment to production environment
  • Assist Government user in defining Process Qualification Documentation, Process Design Documentation, and Test Design Documentation.
  • Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas
  • Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
  • Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are met
