JOB SUMMARY
The Jr. Sales Analyst will play a key role in supporting the sales team by providing detailed analysis of sales performance, market trends, customer behavior, and competitive industry insights. This role involves collecting, analyzing and interpreting data to help guide business decisions and improve sales strategies. The Sales Analyst will also work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance and operations, to ensure alignment of sales goals and performance.
Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Jr. Sales Analyst, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Gather and analyze sales data, performance metrics, and industry insights to provide actionable recommendations for improving sales strategies.
- Create regular sales reports and dashboards to communicate trends, performance, and opportunities to the sales team and management.
- Assist in the management of customer relationship management (CRM) systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date data.
- Effectively communicate key data findings, trends, and actionable insights to leadership and other key stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, impactful presentations and recommendations.
- Monitor and evaluate individual and team sales performance against set goals and KPIs.
- Work closely with cross functions such as finance, operations, business transformation to align sales activities with broader business strategies.
- Support the collection, organization, and communication of competitive information, market conditions, and industry trends to identify new opportunities and threats.
- Support sales forecasting efforts by using historical data and industry insights to predict future trends and sales potential.
- Support the creation of prospecting lists, halo maps and other data necessary for intentional and data-influenced pipeline development.
- Provide custom analyses and reports based on the needs of the sales leadership and other key stakeholders.

- Undergraduate degree in Business/Commerce or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience in sales analysis, data analysis, or a related role.
- Ability to analyze large sets of data and draw meaningful conclusions to support decision-marking
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience with Microsoft CRM & Dynamics 365 is an asset.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven strategic thinking skills – ability to understand market performance, translate insights into opportunities, and develop clear recommendations.
- Ability to identify issues, find solutions, and make data-driven decisions
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet frequent deadlines
- Collaborative, accountable, and passionate team player that takes initiative.
