The PR group here at Syneos Health handle the internal and external communications for pharmaceutical companies, and our talented Consultants interact with brand managers, product managers, marketing departments and specialist patient groups. We are now looking for an enthusiastic Graduate to join the team who is a self starter and capable of bringing passion and high levels of dedication to everything they do.
The primary purpose of the role is to support the account team on the day-to-day running of client accounts and assisting in the delivery of a range of campaigns and the handling of entry-role communications.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Creating and maintaining press databases
- Monitoring coverage achieved
- Keeping the status report up-to-date and circulating weekly
- Assisting writing contact reports after each meeting
- Liaising with the media
- Contributing towards ideas for new projects and stories
- Assisting the trafficking of work through the creative services department
- Helping with invoicing processes
- Understanding how/when to identify and flag work, project or client issues
- Providing team support as required, working with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree educated, preferably within Public Relations or Life Sciences
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to flex style according to the needs of clients and teams
- Ability to work competently under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Demonstrates and maintains up-to-date knowledge and capability in all main software packages, including Microsoft Office
