ABOUT THE JOB

Inland Industrial Supply Ltd. is looking for a talented and highly self-motivated professional to join our outside sales team in Calgary, Alberta. This role is crucial to maintaining our success and driving future growth. It is ideal for individuals who are new to the sales industry, eager to learn, and looking to develop their skills for long-term career growth.
Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, the Junior Account Manager will be responsible for driving new business growth, securing new clients, and expanding our customer base within the Calgary area.
This junior-level, full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience and grow within a leading industrial supply company. The role requires strong organizational skills, customer relationship management, and sales acumen, as well as a passion for working in a client-facing environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Applicants must be willing to work and travel around Calgary, Alberta
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least six (6) months of related experience
  • Knowledgeable in the Calgary industrial distribution industry (an asset)
  • Previous experience with SAP Database may be an asset
  • Has a valid class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new opportunities within potential and existing clients and territory.
  • Understand and meet customer product needs and expectations through appropriate pricing and selection.
  • Introduce and demonstrate new products to appropriate clients.
  • Traveling to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.
  • Maintain professional and productive relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Coordinating and arranging client events, meetings, and appointments.
  • Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
