Description:

Alhaktur IT Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. Responsibilities:
Financial Record-Keeping and Reporting:
Maintain accurate financial records related to property management.
Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process and manage invoices from suppliers and ensure timely payments.
Assist in collecting rent and other fees, and follow up on overdue payments.
Track accounts receivable and ensure all payments are posted correctly.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Help prepare annual property management budgets, including revenue and expense projections.
Compare actual financial results with the budget and report variances to senior management.
Compliance and Auditing:
Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Assist in audits by providing required documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct basic financial analysis to support decision-making.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
Property Management Specific Duties:
Calculate and allocate service charges to tenants based on usage and agreements.
Maintain individual property accounts, recording all income and expenses.
Manage accounting for leases, including recognition and modifications.
Communication and Coordination:
Collaborate with legal and operations teams for cohesive financial management.
Communicate with tenants and vendors regarding billing, payments, and financial inquiries.
Use of Financial Software:
Utilize accounting and property management software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, Mollak) for daily tasks.
Ensure accuracy and completeness in financial data management.
Professional Development:
Stay updated on accounting principles and property management regulations.
Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Administrative Support:
Ensure financial documents are well-organized and easily accessible.
Provide administrative support to senior accountants and finance managers.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team.
