Junior Accountant

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily accounting tasks and ensure the company’s financial records are accurate and up to date. This role is crucial for maintaining financial transparency and supporting business decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in accounting software ERP and Oracle.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Record and maintain financial transactions, petty cash, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor accounts for discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist in preparing tax filings and compliance reports.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure alignment with financial goals.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and guidance.
