Description:
Junior Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company. This includes preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Post journal entries, track expenses, and ensure the accuracy of accounting data.
- Manage accounts payable (AP) by processing payments and tracking outstanding invoices.
- Oversee accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing clients and following up on overdue payments.
- Assist in the development of company budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze variances between actual financial results and budgeted figures.
- Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal tax regulations, ensuring compliance.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Calculate employee salaries, deductions, and benefits contributions.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for cost-saving or improvement.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Male candidates preferred.
