WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-3 years of Public Accounting (Audit or Tax) or industry accounting experience preferred
  • Must be detail oriented with an ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated strong accounting skills
  • Self-motivated team player with an ability to demonstrate initiative in problem solving and process definition
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines and tight quarter end deadlines
  • Eager to learn and tackle new challenges

Bonus:

  • Experience with Netsuite

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in monthly closing procedures such as balance sheet reconciliations, journal entry posting, and trended financials reviews
  • Assist in daily operations, such as cash reconciliation, fixed asset and prepaid accounting assessment, expense coding review
  • Review and manage general ledger and department coding of credit card transactions and ensure strong controls are maintained
  • Assist with the data gathering and submission of accounting records to third party international accounting partners
  • Support other accounting functions (e.g., accounts payable), as needed
  • Collaborate to tackle ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Support yearly audit procedures and tax compliance preparation alongside third party accounting firms
