Description:

Description: NSI requires a Junior Administrative Assistant to support a potential contract to support the Navy International Program Office. The Junior Administrative Assistant will have daily interface with the Navy IPO client is required to support the completion of specific tasks within estimated time-frames and budget constraints. Provide daily IPO-02 Directorate administrative support to the Director, the Deputy Director, and the component divisions for FMS case management, policy, and directorate matters to include directorate front desk reception services, scheduling, personnel management, and maintenance of administrative records. Manage directorate resources and responding to administrative and logistical support requests from directorate personnel, including requests for conference rooms, teleconference lines, administrative products, official correspondence, and related administrative requests. Support the planning, scheduling and administrative preparation for meetings, symposiums, and conferences, and related engagements, including office management and support to executive travel and engagements. Support emerging DoN and DoD security cooperation, security assistance and FMS operations, staff, organization, and administrative requirements. Process and distribute official incoming and process outgoing mail in coordination with the Administration division. Process, track, and archive all official correspondence developed within IPO-02, and receive and process external correspondence directed to IPO-02. Provide FMS case correspondence administrative support. Process FMS cases ready for offer to FMS partners in Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS) for the Country Program Directors (CPDs), and the production and distribution of associated reports and summaries. Coordinating visitor support and access, and escort persons, as required.
Location: Washington D.C.
Education: High School Diploma.
Certifications: Technical training certificate in MS Office
Experience: 5 years or less specialized experience in above noted duties. Routinely working with officials at GS-14/15 level preferred.
Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
