Description:

Description: NSI requires a Junior Program Analyst to support a potential contract to support the Navy International Program Office. The Junior Program Analyst will provide support for all administrative assistance requirements for export licensing. Weekly reporting of export license requests assigned and processed by the division. Generation of routine correspondence regarding the validation of exemptions. Create exemption certification cases in the USXPORTS database and uploading supporting documentation to the system. Provide support to newly assigned personnel to include coordinating registration for internal and external database access (including DND2, SPAN, FVS, NDPS, USXPORTS) as well as organizing and distributing the necessary desk reference material to be provided to newly assigned personnel. Provide IPO-01 Directorate front desk reception services, scheduling, coordinating visitor support and access, escorting uncleared persons, as required, and maintaining of administrative records. Review correspondence and documents prepared for signature or requiring coordination for conformance with style guides, regulations, and special policies. Ensure technical accuracy with regard to format, typographic and grammatical accuracy. Communicating with the originator for correction when not in conformance with known policies or correspondence regulations. Assist in composing correspondence to include administrative matters, letters of acknowledgment, general office and installation policies, acceptance of invitations, and cancellation of events. Facilitate internal directorate communication (e.g. photocopy and distribute information, schedule team meetings). Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports. Respond to administrative and logistical support requests from all directorate personnel, including requests for scheduling conference rooms and teleconference lines, requisitioning and obtaining administrative products, preparing official correspondence, and related administrative requests. Support the planning, scheduling and administrative preparation for meetings, symposiums, and conferences, and related engagements or travel. Process and distributing official incoming and collect and process outgoing mail in coordination with the Administration division. Process, track, and archive all official Navy IPO correspondence developed within IPO-01, and receive and process external correspondence directed to IPO-01. Assemble and track action memos and information memos generated within IPO-01 through to signature by appropriate authority, and subsequent appropriate scanning and filing of correspondence. Provide occasional support as needed to support the processing of foreign visit requests through the OSD Foreign Visits System.
Location: Washington D.C.
Education: High School diploma/Equivalent.
Experience: 5 Years or less specialized experience performing the above functions.
Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
