JUNIOR ADMINISTRATOR (HYBRID)

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Administrator to join our growing organization. The Junior Administrator will provide IT help desk support, manage network devices, and oversee various IT infrastructures, including cloud services. This role will also be responsible for optimizing systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations. If this sounds like the right role for you, keep reading!

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology (IT)
  • 2-3 years of experience in managing MDM solutions and asset management
  • 2-3 years of experience with virtualization using Hyper-V and VMware Products, including setup and deployment.
  • 2-3 years of experience in system lifecycle management
  • 2-3 years of experience with Microsoft network and administration
  • 2-3 years of experience of routing protocols, site-2-site VPNs, and virtual LANs.
  • 2-3 years of experience in M365 administration as well as on-premised active directory.
  • Understanding of change management process and incident response.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Desktop, Servers Operating systems and office suite of products.
  • Competence in Linux server administration and command line interface (CLI).
  • Knowledgeable in Patch management solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage network devices from printers, cameras, switches, routers, access points and firewalls.
  • Manage cloud-controlled devices through web portals and diagnose network-related issues with the use of software tools.
  • Optimize the wireless network within the building.
  • Installation of network hardware and decommission of old hardware.
  • Oversee the lifecycle and backups of network devices / IoT devices.
  • Review and modify firewall rules for firewall rules in Fortinet, Meraki, and Cisco-related devices.
  • Manage system backups for production systems.
  • Manage Multifactor Authentication servers and deployments
  • Maintain and manage Software as a Service (SaaS) and cloud-hosted virtual platforms, including Azure virtual hosting and networking (storage accounts) and Amazon Web Services (EC2, Lambda, and S3).
  • Other duties as assigned.
