Junior All Store Assistant

Williamson’s FoodWorks is a locally owned Supermarket and has an exciting new opportunity for a Junior Casual All Store Assistant to join our team at our Gisborne Store.
Reporting to the Duty Manager, the All Store Assistant will be required to work across all areas of the business which will include (but not limited to) assisting with the receipt, presentation & rotation of stock, working behind the cash register and most importantly providing high quality customer service.

Our ideal candidate will be a High School student (minimum age 15) who has the following capabilities, with on the job training to be provided as required:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent organisational & time management skills
• Be physically capable of undertaking substantial lifting and being on your feet for long periods of time
• Strong communication skills and the ability to confidently liaise with staff and customers
• Be a team player who is flexible and adaptable to change
• Positive attitude with lots of initiative
• Basic to intermediate computing skills
• Previous Retail &/or Supermarket experience will be deemed beneficial but not essential

Be willing and able to work casual flexible hours across 7 days a week, mainly between the hours of 4pm-9pm Mon-Fri and 7am-9pm on weekends. Opportunities to work outside of those hours during school holidays may exist to help meet rostering needs.

Pay: From $12.83 per hour
