As a Junior Tracking Analyst on our Royalty Tracking & BI team, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Writer & Publisher Relations, Finance, Royalties, and Copyright teams by transforming data into valuable insights. You’ll ensure revenue from global affiliates is accurately tracked and help identify new opportunities to maximise revenue across new and existing markets. Reporting directly to the Director of Tracking & BI, you’ll be at the heart of driving transparent and actionable data solutions.
To succeed in this role, you will need strong organiational and prioritisation skills, along with the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges. You should be able to make sense of ambiguous business queries and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to clarify and align on deliverables. Taking ownership of creating actionable dashboards that make business intelligence accessible across departments will be a key responsibility. You will manage both recurring and ad-hoc projects, with a focus on income tracking to maximise value and provide clients with transparent, accurate royalty reporting. You should also be comfortable working with large datasets and proficient in communicating insights through data visualisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, improve and maintain actionable dashboards that solve business problems.
  • Conduct ad hoc investigations, create reports, and deliver insights to Senior Management.
  • Support income royalty analysis for external clients and internal queries.
  • Maintain and improve processes tracking income over time.
  • Investigate income gaps and payment anomalies with your cross-functional peers.
  • Keep updated on incoming statements from PROs, CMOs, and direct licences to inform revenue performance.
  • Assist with audit investigations, delivering accurate analysis and commentary.
  • Enhance your technical skills and domain knowledge to apply in ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and address business challenges.
