Description:
As an Associate in our Corporate Finance team you will be responsible for producing material and financial models in, primarily, PowerPoint, Word and Excel for our engagements and pitches. The role will involve working across M&A, strategic advisory, valuation and analysis.

The Corporate Finance team has a broad experience in analyzing, structuring, and closing transactions. Our clients comprise everything from smaller family-owned businesses to large listed multinational companies in most industries. Our assignments are mainly sell or buy sides for medium-sized companies in Sweden, but smaller and larger transactions are also represented. International deals are conducted in collaboration with Deloitte’s global network with a stable number of cross border deals.
QUALIFICATIONS
You will be keen to develop a strong knowledge and understanding of all aspects of M&A by working in the M&A field and will be involved in the full a-z of the M&A process.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong academic background – Minimum a Masters Degree. Probably in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering or similar
- Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong interest in business and finance
- Curious and eager to learn
- Strong problem-solving skills and can do attitude
- Prepared to work in a transaction environment with senior management and executives as clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for the purposes of clearly communicating to clients, stakeholders and teams
- Fluency in Swedish and English
- Previous corporate finance experience from an investment bank, a corporate finance boutique, a big 4, private equity or a corporate M&A role is a plus but not a prerequisite
