We are seeking talented Backend Engineers to join our dedicated Digital Payments team. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in integrating our system with various bank networks (ACH, SEPA, FPS, etc.), card networks (Visa, MasterCard, etc.), alternative payment methods (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.) and maintaining the company’s physical and virtual card products.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems that power our comprehensive banking solutions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Spent quality time coding, deeply learning the powerful idioms and important idiosyncrasies of multiple programming languages and their ecosystems. We like to code mostly in JavaScript (node.js).
• Decent understanding of relational (preferably PostgreSQL) and/or non-relational databases (e.g. Redis).
• Decent understanding of web semantics.
• Knowledge of revision control systems.
• Basic knowledge of standard development pipelines, including build and other automation tools.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player with the ability to work in cross-functional teams, and with a great attitude.
• Fluent written and oral English skills.
