Extracellular is a Bristol based start-up aiming to be a global leader in sustainable biotechnology.
We’re channeling expertise in biology and biomanufacturing to accelerate cell-based products with sustainable, ethical applications. We’re building really cool development and scale-up capabilities, which we’ll use to help dozens of companies hit their R&D targets, and we’re going to try to save the planet!
Responsibilities:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic researcher who’s keen to use their scientific understanding to gain some experience with cell culture and / or bioprocessing engineering to develop sustainable solutions for the planet using biotechnology.
We have up to 2 positions available from January 2025 on a full-time basis, in our labs in Bristol, UK.
The role will be lab-based and we will train you in techniques including:
- Adherent and suspension cell cultures.
- Analytical techniques including qPCR, flow cytometry, and other basic analytical techniques.
- Bioreactor principles for mammalian cultures.
- Safe working practices in a life science lab.
