Salary Range: $32.697 - $39.809 Hourly
Salary Supplement: included in hourly salary range (in-scope)
TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION, YOU WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING (WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR):
- Healthcare IT applications with a focus on common electronic health record (eHR) systems
- Integrated, enterprise scaled systems
- Information analysis techniques
- Requirements analysis and solution design techniques
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and thrive in a dynamic, technology driven environment
- Service level and change management protocols
- Interoperability and messaging standards such as HL7 and/or FHIR would be considered an asset
- Certified business analysis professional designation would be considered an asset
Our ideal candidate would have gained the knowledge and skills required for this position through the completion of a post-secondary (diploma or degree) in computer science, health information management, health informatics, business information systems or IIBA entry certificate in business analysis (ECBA). In addition, you will have 1 year of experience working as a business analyst or similar role in a health care environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

- Ability to identify, explore and evaluate options on data, processes and methodologies, information technology and potential systems design to make feasible recommendations
- Gather, understand and synthesize specialized information in a way that can be applied to meet the needs of the organization and within given constraints

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Interoperability Services division is looking for a Junior Business Analyst with a customer focus who values knowing that the work they do has a direct impact on the lives of patients and families. The type of work will vary daily but will revolve primarily around documenting business processes, validating technology solutions and providing support and training to integrated applications.
TYPICAL DAILY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
- Requirement elicitation and analysis
- Stakeholder communication
- Quality assurance tasks such as system and user acceptance testing
- Creating detailed documentation including process flows, use cases and user stories
