JUNIOR BUSINESS ANALYST - 6 MONTH FTC
Location: Bretby
As a Junior Business Analyst you will be helping to analyse gaps, assess systems and solutions and delivery IT systems to address business efficiencies
Socotec is a business experiencing an exciting amount of growth. Working as part of a friendly and welcoming group, you will be helping identify IT Projects to provide efficiency gains and operational improvements for your business division. As well as helping to ensure they are delivered
Reporting to a Business Delivery Partner and working with various teams.
The key deliverable for this role are:
- Work with the business to identify “as is” and “to be” business processes, help identify gaps and potential solutions with process
- Identify appropriate IT solutions to meet business requirements
- Provide the interface between the business, 3rd parties and the internal IT team
- Help ensure projects are meeting requirements and needs of the business
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the senior Analysts and Delivery Partners to scope and manage projects
- Conduct and collect information about current business processes and analyst the business problems
- Conduct in-depth evaluations and verifications of system capabilities
- Work to understand and identify the right stakeholders for a project, communicating key updates to them
- Work closely with the project sponsor to help define and scope the project
- Work with external stakeholders to understand and investigate feedback into the service, function, or product provided
- Use data modelling practices to analyse your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes
- Consider opportunities and potential risks attached to suggestions you make
- Identify the processes and information technology required to introduce your recommendations
- Communicate the benefits of your recommendations across departments and help to address any uncertainty and concern
- Create Specification Documentation for Development teams
- Produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and to present to stakeholders when necessarySupport staff and teams in making your recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues
This role is ideal for entry level or graduate. We are looking for someone who can engage with and understand the business, with good analytical skills and a passion for tech systems
