JOB DESCRIPTION
The Business Development team manages the early stages of solar, wind and storage projects across Italy. We are looking for an Intern to join our fast-growing business in Italy to help select the most viable and sustainable new additions to our project portfolio. In this role, you will have the opportunity to get first-hand experience in tackling some of the most pressing issues in the Italian renewable energy sector today.
As an Intern within the Business Development Italy team, you will:
- Support the creation and development of viable solar, wind and storage projects, in the screening and pre-feasibility stages.
- Take part in strategic initiatives across the organization, explore new markets and assess disruptive business models and routes to market.
- Take on responsibility in site evaluations, assessing key project drivers such as the electrical grid, regulations, sustainability and profitability.
- Collaborate on engineering studies, environmental impact assessments and assist technical staff in connection to the projects.
- Engage regularly with other business units in the company and participate in meetings with the global Statkraft team on a regular basis.
- Monitor and report on project progress and finances.
