Junior CAD Draughtsperson

A leading manufacturer within the perimeter security product industry, Ultimation Direct are a privately-owned business where individuals’ contributions have an impact on the overall success of the Company.
Due to continued success and expansion we are now looking to add a Junior CAD Draughtsperson to our team.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Be able to work from your own initiative and take appropriate action to resolve problems.
• Base knowledge in Solidworks would be an advantage.
• Ability to sketch up initial drafts on paper, through to full manufacturing 2D CAD Drawings
• Proficient using MS Office
• Excellent organisational skills and time management skills
• Ability to work to tight programmes and ability to work under pressure.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Comply with all company rules, regulations, legal and health and safety requirements.
• Attend Training Courses as and when required.
  A competitive salary dependant on experience.

Work Location: In perso

• Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings
• Produce DXF drawings for products designed
• Producing fabrication drawings to bespoke requirements
• Communicating directly with clients to determine requirements
• Produce accurate fabrication packages for issue to the workshop.
• Having the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team
• Work in co-operation with all company personnel both inside and outside the office..
• Understanding of the importance of document control and drawing revisions.
